Yesterday I met up again with these two female acquaintances who randomly told me “we probably have better luck than you because we are blonde and light eyed,” and that I probably don’t “feel American enough” to Korean people to think I am beautiful. They really hurt me with their words because they were not true… at this day and age, I am considered very attractive. I’m Korean but people say I’m very pretty. Who are they to tell me that men prefer them over Koreans? This was the worst thing they bragged about over the time we got to know each other. Especially since a talk after anorexia. They didn’t give an f about anorexia and ignorantly started talking about how they didn’t need to worry about their own body weight because of their blonde hair and light eyes…Now I know who to not meet…

A decade ago you'd only see stories about white men doing this shit.
