thinking about taking a boat to south korea from china and resting for a couple weeks

would this make for an interesting part of my journey from china to rome by land? or should i keep pushing westwards

i’ve just found out that the azerbaijan sea border is closed so im gonna have to get a transit visa through russia via kazakhstan
