Ijust rented it for 2 months. see if it's as nice as it seems. if it is, rent for 9 months. 2 bedroom, comes with pool, gym, close to two massive shopping malls, and travel hotel (look that up if you google travel hotel jakarta)

BGC is definitely expensive, it's roughly double the price of Bangkok for the same quality. I'd try Makati/Poblacion in Manila...it should be a little cheaper and it's still decent enough

But bgc is really different than BKK it's hard to compare. But living in BGC prob sucks anyway
