Seriously considering universities in China (Shanghai and HK) for both geomaxxing and non-geomaxxing reasons. In terms of geomaxxing and long-term QOL, which one would you choose and why?

Hong Kong I believe is one of the most densely populated areas on Earth plus you'd have to probably learn Cantonese which is harder than Mandarin (more tones and uses traditional characters for example) although you may be able to get by with just English. I don't know if universities there teach in English or not

What about Taiwan? Why Shanghai in particular?

University will be better in shanghai. You’ll have to integrate more to get the best experiences

Hong Kong is entry level in terms of getting into adventures and fucking girls. If you don’t care about career and shi like that, I’d say Hong Kong

But you should visit both before deciding. Shanghai will be better if you want to live in the region long term and gives you more experience from a stint of living there vs the expats in Hong Kong who live there for half a decade and have no personal development

Actually the uni in Hong Kong would be much better than the one I am considering in Shanghai. The one in HK is ranked anywhere from 11-50th globally, while the one in Shanghai is ranked around 70-100th. Both are very good, but the school I am considering applying to (University of Hong Kong) is consistently ranked top 5 in Asia.

Yeah all of the universities in HK are taught exclusively in English, and Shanghai is the only other city that has a very reputable university that's primary teaching language of English. Taiwan would obviously be optimal for geomaxxing purposes but not career wise. Either way, Shanghai and Hong Kong are both short flights away from Taiwan.

asian masters do not have a high reputation anyway. employers do not even know them in the west. i would not recommend to spend money on an asian master. just study in th US and geomaxx after
