Planning on going abroad in next few months but still having some trouble deciding where to start. I was gonna start off going to Dominican Republic cause I like thick women but Ive heard it's not best to start there and that somewhere like Thailand or Philliphines would be better for me to start off with first since english is widely spoken in those places. What do you guys think? Only thing I dont like about SEA is how long the plane flights are.

Spanish is a European language, it isn't too hard to learn, and it is spoken in enough countries that knowing it can unlock virtually limitless opportunities. Find a language school and pay for a couple weeks of lessons. They will probably invite you to a language exchange class, where you will meet a local girl who is looking to date a foreigner...she will become your "horizontal teacher", constantly engaging you in conversation and help you learn a few new words every day, and before you know it, you will be conversationally fluent and socially confident in a way that no app can teach you. No mames, guey!

And no, English is not widely spoken in Thailand. A translator app is a daily necessity.

Spanish is very useful, but dont think you will have good luck without Spanish.

Mexico and Colombia (stick to Santa Marta or tier two cities like Pereira). Plenty safe. I've spent a lot of time in both countries, and LatAm - LatAm is for you amigo.

Just stay home. You've been 'planning' to travel for years now. It's clear that it'll never happen.
I have been planning to travel for 8 months now. Its never too late. I had to get my life back in order. I had a nice penthouse with a pool, good salary and I was still depressed. I thought Asia would save me. Its only with constant therapy where you can be truly happy in the moment.

A lot of people travelling are very fortunate

I would say for someone new, Thailand is bassicaly a "beginner's pool. For beginners" and a very safe pick. Its just the quality that isn't there

going someplace hot and crowded and poor won't magically make you happy
but you still should go
I've been in SEA since November 7th

have you been here? this is not a country for pursuing LTRs with local women. bars and massage parlors, that's what's here

Yeah I have been in Thailand.
I also had a 1 in 100 THAI LTR. I was just really dissapointed with the dating scene. It was supposed to be gospel but is filled with sexpats, escorts and ladyboys. And I tried multiple areas.

Even learning thai a girl will reject you.

This is the Philippines too. My Tinder got banned for having a bio that said 'no trans / lady boys' and asking in messages if they were trans.
