In Asia you gotta up your hygiene game, you can’t let your body weaken itself fighting some bacteria.
Given the low hygiene standards in Asia (except Japan and South Korea), I recommend to :
- Use wipes to disinfect spoons, plates and chopsticks in restaurants.
- Use alcohol wipes to disinfect toilet seats and sinks in hotel. (The hygiene standards are low, even in very good hotels).
- Alcohol spray for bed and pillows in hotels
- Always bring clean slippers to wear while you take your shower and walk around.
- Never accept food given to you freely by some random person.
- Only eat in premium restaurants, avoid night markets (unsupervised hygiene standards, almost always terrible).
- Clean your fruits with baking soda if they don’t have skin to peel off.
- NEVER drink water from the sink. Use mineral water to brush teeth.
- Try to avoid shared washing machines.

That’s a few things that came to my mind.
Hygiene maxxing is necessary to perform your best. An healthy mind in an healthy body they say.
There are some nasty viruses and very unclean persons. These small steps will greatly limit the risks of you getting sick and they will allow your body to perform at its best consistently, allowing for higher energy levels and overall risen happiness levels.

I have not done any of this and never got sick. I only wash hands after toliet and eat street food all day

But you will one day. Moreover your body might constantly be fighting bacteria while you are unaware. Lowering your energy levels in the long run.
Things you don’t see matter. The things that you are oblivious about are often the ones that matter the most.

But dont you think your body can adapt? The Chinese live like this every day

I think the most unhealthy thing is the air polution anyway. And you cannot flee that if you want to stay in the city. When you look at the lung of somebody who has been living in the city for years it just looks black like that of a chain smoker

Do you envy the way their body is ? Most of them are dirty, fucked up teeth and have bad skin.
And no your body can’t really and shouldn’t really adapt.
Being clean costs very little but actually allows your immunity cells to rest and be ready to fight in case of a real threat. Being clean also has the consequence of you smelling better, looking better. Pretty girls despise dirty men.
If you are not even able
