I will never understand these people because there's not enough time or energy in anyone's life to waste fighting someone else's battles. I will gladly shill for the U.S. or whoever you want me to if you pay me. Otherwise I'm tuned out. If Trump makes my life better cool. If he makes it worse that sucks. Nothing I can say or do will change that. Just focusing on what makes life better for me and my loved ones. And do the right thing in everyday situations where I can make a small impact.
I think part of the problem is the Gen Z tendency for everyone to believe they have a "voice" and a "platform". No, your 12 paragraph reddit post will not reach anyone or change anyone's minds. You just wasted your time screaming into a void.
I personally know some "social media warriors" who made it big but they made their own channels instead of reddit posting.
Pros:
1) They earn a living off of it now due to how big they got
2) They get pats on the back whenever they go to right wing conferences/meetups
Cons:
1) They're not getting laid anymore than they did before
2) They spend all their time thinking of click bait titles and the next content strategy
It seems like an exhausting lifestyle.
A different approach:
A guy I know works online and earns a couple thousand dollars a month at most. He lives simply and keeps costs low.
He lives in a one room apartment in Moldova and built a social circle there. He's got a super cute girl, friends, healthy hobbies.
He's expecting his first child and is happy.
To each his own, but I know which strategy I'm pursuing.
By the way, almost no one gets organic growth on social media sites.
All the guys I know paid for it in some way:
-paid for view counts
-got boosted by other influencers
-etc.

Here's an article about these "click farms":
"On Instagram, Latham’s photos usually attract anywhere from a few dozen to couple hundred likes. But when he deployed his personal click farm to announce his latest book, the post generated more than 6,600 likes. The photographer wants people to realize that there’s more to what they see on social media — and that metrics aren’t a measurement of authenticity."
After they get popular, they don't have to do it as much. But to get started, most of them invested $ into it. Risky too considering you can get deplatformed, shadowbanned, etc. Its a cutthroat business.
