Got asked to tip the cashier at a shoe store

So the other week I thrifted a pair of Timberlands for $12 but they were size 10 instead of my regular size 9.5. It was mad uncomfortable wearing them.

So today I went out to the mall and grabbed some thick shoe insoles because they make the shoe tighter. Went to pay and they gave me the tablet that asked for a fucking tip . Fuck no, tip the cashier for me bringing them an item to ring up. She didn't even smile or say hi or anything

I hear in Europe they don't have tipping + prices are labeled with sales tax.
