Crazy how much the US has changed

It's a crime infested shithole right now, bankrupt, with 3rd world infrastructure, with sick and obese people everywhere and with an epidemic of mental illness in every big city, especially among the college educated people.

But it wasn't always like that. It used to be the best country in the world until roughly 2010.

What do you notice? Any difference from 1988 to 2024? And what you don't notice?
