which areas to stay in? want to not be surrounded by russians (would prefer it be koreans) and want delicious food to stuff my face everyday

I stayed in Bali in Canggu for 2 months couple of years back. I loved it there. The pros of Canggu was that there were many attractive white women going there for holiday. It probably has the highest concentration of attractive white women in all of Asia. The caveat is that it also has a shit ton of white Chads which you will have to compete with.

One of the biggest pros of this area was that everyone is into their looks and therefore take care of their looks (yoga, gym, style, etc.) If you are a twig, a fat fuck, or are just lame looking, you won't fit in. There are also a lot of good western food options at affordable prices.

I managed to get with a HTB Russian chick when I was there so it was good and gravy. Highly recommend Canggu. I wouldn't recommend Seminyak and especially wouldn't recommend Kuta.

one thing about bali is that you're not going to necessarily get mogged everywhere despite being full of chadlites

the longer a woman has been on vacation the pickier she is going to get. but for many women its their first or second day and they're just waiting for something to happen, and really they're going to rely more on feeling and whatever mood of the journey she is in

tinder can be absolutely brutal though

I recommend smaller beach bar areas that still have enough people to gather around a bonfire or something like that. roughly 30 or so. the bars are small but still lively and have like dance tuesdays or something. they stay open because the profit from even a single beer is enough to sustain a worker for like 3 days, so they really do their best to create a good atmosphere

i'm in canggu now but i'm just staying because i caught the flu and need to rest. life is here nicer than in kuta or seminyak because it's more laidback and less aggressive vendors.

but regarding women i feel like this is the most played out place on the island. it's central for digital nomads, surf chads, vegan hipsters, gymbros, young rubberboat-lips russians.

you were right about kuta and you said "go an hour away from uluwatu" for more receptive people. i haven't been to uluwatu yet because it's too far to date people from around denpasar. and then an hour from it and you are where? in the middle of nowhere? they probably don't even have grab/gojek there. so what are you gonna do there? please explain because to me it sounds like withering away in loneliness tbh.

i'm just about to make a remote worker girl from jakarta that i've never even met fly over here and go around the island with me. crazy plan i know, but maybe that will make my stay here more satisfying.

no matter where you go there is good food. a good chance of good surfing. just chill at a cafe and read/play games or do whatever you do. buy like an 8 dollar lobster on the beach. isnt that the point of bali? I would go to bali to do that every once and a while even if there were no girls.

then, by virtue of being in a tourist spot where indos go, you will eventually meet someone, or find someone on tinder, or like you said, even get a girl to fly out to you. a girl has a pretty good chance of flying out to meet you in jakarta or bali. other places not so much. you could stay in surabaya for immediately meeting girls and just tell the girls in other places you're in bali and to fly out to meet you.

well alex, you are a refined fellow. So you want to stay south jakarta.

but i can show you a few places that are trendy. we can go with my younger buddy who is 35.

for bali, look into first class train from jakarta to surabaya. Then go from surabaya one hour away to a coastal town and take a ferry to bali. Best way to see ALL of the mainland of indonesia. jakarta to surabaya is only 8 hours

but you ride like this. free wifi, tv and you can order food. why the fuck not, i think it's 75 dollars one way. remember to bring your own booze, cause its' hit or miss if they offer alcohol.
