I work for a small company, i help them with the marketing. Boss doesn't give a fuck where i work from as long as i do my job and I'm available during european hours.
But i'm working as a contractor and only part time, so my income is quite low right now until I take on more projects and move up in the company.

But it's hard, I got lucky. Everyone else I know that geomaxx are either freelancers, they have their own small business or they are very senior and demanded to go remote.

VPN method can be used, that will depend on how much your company cares, if they want they can catch you very easily, and due to so many retarded sexpats companies are cracking down hard on remote work.

cant u just get one of those travel routers that are perma connected to your home network? just plug in via ethernet, dont connect to wifi, set local time and boom your at "home"

unless u got a work issued laptop with their own monitoring system

I did ask for permission but I know he wouldn't care, we have known each other for a long time and have worked for him before on other projects

all company is pretty much remote, so quite a unique situation which is why i said i got lucky

i know nowadays thats very hard to find, and those roles are very competitive
