travel ideas - walking across south korea or different country?

im so fucking tired of this shitty modern life i want to escape reality and do somethign like walk across a whole country for a few reasons
- every day is stimulating
- can escape the nightmare of sitting at a desk all day
- time perception will slow down
- cheap (big one)

anyone can give me tips? what kind of equipment i need? sleeping outside? good countries to do it (japan, s korea), stuff like this?
maybe not the best place to ask but fuck it

korea is a good one because nobody will bother you as long as you don’t camp somewhere stupid

i’ve biked across korea a few times and it’s always been nice

here’s some pics of a few places where i camped


mongolia is good too but more harsh landscape so you’ll either have to carry water or follow rivers

my last day riding horses in mongolia i got so dehydrated that i was bed ridden for a week after lol

no it’s my own bike

no point in renting tho. it would be cheaper to just buy your own gear
