Can’t talk about Taiwan but in China don’t be fooled if they’re excited or nice it’s either because :
1. You’re a foreigner and it makes them happy to serve a white person
2. They need to put on an act for their work which is common in good places

Don’t idolize it so much. Life is brutal for the people there, you work hard as fuck, the job market is extremely competitive, the house prices are completely outrageous compared to their wages and they have to betabuxx hard for their women. We as foreigners only get to experience the good side of it
