The Saviour said, “Except a man be born from above,” unless he shall receive a new heart, new desires, purposes, and motives, leading to a new life, “he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3, margin.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift” (James 1:17) is from God.

“Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes; cease to do evil; learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” Isaiah 1:16, 17.
This is important because it's said that sometimes women choose abortion because they don't want to be single mothers.

“Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33.

The love of money, the desire for wealth, is the golden chain that binds them to Satan.

Duty becomes a delight, and sacrifice a pleasure.
I'd say duty is a delight.

Jesus said of Himself before He came to earth, “I delight to do Thy will, O My God: yea, Thy law is within My heart.” Psalm 40:8.

“The Father Himself loveth you.” John 16:27.

“Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23, 24.

“The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.”

“Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.” And He explains Himself by saying.

If we thought and talked more of Jesus, and less of self, we should have far more of His presence.

It is not wise to gather together all the unpleasant recollections of a past life,—its iniquities and disappointments,—to talk over them and mourn over them until we are overwhelmed with discouragement.

“In the world,” He says, “ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 17:15; 16:33.

Tbh I think if you read The Bible, you don't need to read this book.
