If you just made a 1% gain a day you would double your account in a bit over three months. Even if you can’t hit that every day it shouldn’t be too hard to reach it over the course of a full year. If you get a bigger gain it goes even quicker.

and how does one gain 1% a day? That would be an annualised 3678%

I wouldn’t expect to actually hit that every day - I do 2% and set it to sell when it reaches that then leave it be on crypto - you could do the same with a leveraged etf like mentioned above. Find something that isn’t changing on a macro level but swings a bit every day or so. Just ride the little waves.

after that its so easy anybody can do it
then you can easily make a couple hundred a day
just swing trade leveraged etfs

are you guys actually daytrading or were you mainly giving tips here?

i used to but when i moved to asia i stopped because i didn’t want to ruin my sleep to make a few hundred dollars
you mean ruin your sleep because of the time zones for trading US market? or because of the stress?

i used to do it for some time until i burned my fingers with forex. you're dealing with fractions of fractions of a bigger picture there if you trade with high leverage. and then some whale comes along like a government who suddenly changes the rules and instantly the small picture you were looking at completely falls apart. if only once you make a mistake like setting incorrect stoploss it can fuck you up. the more trades you make the more error-prone it becomes. of course you can lower the leverage if you use higher amounts of money, but then theoretically there's even more at risk if you are not concentrated.

how much money did you go in with for single trades?
