Flights between regional countries are cheap, you can get flights for less than 50$ in SEA, and most guys with low budget will max out tourist visa, so they are getting 1 flight every 2-3 months on average.

I don't have much dating experience with the locals as I don't find most Asian women attractive. I work as a commercial sailor and I get off in Singapore fairly often and I'll go up to KL and chill for a bit. The only woman I've dated there was a Canadian expat.
