both amazing but Indonesia is better imo, better food, cheaper prices, more fun, more nature, better culture, nicer people, easier and better women and not to mention the very open smoking culture (if you smoke). Laos is like basically a Thai province that was colonized by China and also always feels hella dead and empty. And very important disclaimer, you can get in serious trouble for having sex with their women outside of marriage I've heard crazy stories of cops storming hotel rooms. Be careful out there.
