How do you get a long term visa to China that isn’t English teaching? (1 Viewer)

I know there's some plays with business visas but I'm not too enlightened on that.
Another thing you can do is enroll in a language school, can go for pretty long but you would need the money for it, costs more $ especially if you want to enroll somewhere like shanghai etc (plus rent, usually can't get into the dorms if enrolling in a major university) think it falls under x1 or similar visas

I was actually going to go the language school route until @AlexBrown84 enlightened me on WGU, we shall have a full degree before the year ends.

Houses are like 20k but the truth is even with job its so hard to stay there permanently.
In Thailand they are so cheap the language visa prob got more now.

I'm not an expert in China but I'm not aware of any easy visa as you would find in Thailand, Philippines, or latam countries
If you are willing to marry that's an easy one but will obviously require to marry
Language school, but you will need to attend classes
Some kind of multi entry visa but you will need to do visa runs, and won't be considered resident

gotta do runs every 60 days though right? my friend has one, i might apply for it as a backup if im ever in between visas to save me the hassle of applying in the future.
With these kinds of visas with short time limits you never know when you'll get denied at the border.
I fear being in the situation of trying to come back to your chinese apartment on one of those visas and being denied, meanwhile all your stuff is in there, brutal minimalism pill.
