too many indians and arabs, plus too many asian scammers pretending to be white guys plus the effortpill has hit its apex. once htns start throwing away free attention to ethnics it's already gg which is what's happening

you need to looks min on these apps to be successful in 2025 leading into 2026 and beyond. when these broads see a clean shaven aryan with perfect facial harmony show up randomly in their dms on a LANGUAGE LEARNING APP they get suspicious and/or intimidated because most of the guys are ugly plus asians are used to getting scammed by fake male profiles. so now you have to 1) prove you're not a scammer and 2) put in effort. i don't like putting in effort. if you're good looking your only options are the small majority of good looking women on HT and tandem. maybe hiding half of your face would help

Korean and Japanese are the most popular Asian women, you'll see anytime a women post on HT regardless if its selfie or something dumb it'll get hundreds of likes and I started noticing this after that update that changed the UI and had that tinder like feature. Like @Yuezhi said in person is the best option with the quality of online dating gone down and way too many people in DMs. With that said I feel if you're white your other competition is other white dudes, since the words gotten out.

yeah that's true. sometimes i get random messages from them months later simply because their inboxes are always at 999+

a lot of them just seem overwhelmed so that's why i've been trying to put more effort into the first message but even then i get more messages back from htbs than from mtbs. i've seen the competition on hellotalk and it's not very difficult to be honest. i think indians, pakistanis and arabs are just fucking everything up for people like they did with interpals
