Last weekend Syrian asylum seeker "Issa Al Hasan" went to a festival in the Western German city Solingen and stabbed people. He sneaked up to them from behind to strike them in the neck with his blade. 3 people died and 8 were injured.
Later he got caught.
Last year he was supposed to be deported already because according to the asylum law he had no right to remain in Germany, but the deportation failed because he left his refugee shelter and couldn't be found anymore.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the knife attack, saying in a statement on its Telegram account that it was "in revenge for Muslims in Palestine and everywhere".
