i remember being in mandalay last week and this was right when the government announced forced military service, i had just ordered a tuktuk taxi to head back to my hotel and was noticing it was taking longer than usual for him to get here
when i get in the ride we pass by this busy street where a bunch of people are lined up outside and at the time i didn’t know what it was for but now checking on the maps it was a passport office lol
everybody is fleeing myanmar which makes sense. what doesn’t make sense is one of the girls i fucked there said that she’ll always live in myanmar and doesn’t plan to leave. must have family connections to the government or something
