is there any evidence that supports this idea? this is going back to old school PSL theorems but it's something that's been completely overlooked for many years. we've all gotten distracted by improving given features rather than having good proportions. i think it's ok and even normal for most men to have facial failos but regardless of these, it seems like proportions can also be just as important as looks themselves and also do a good job at signaling genetic strength.

looking at pete davidson, even though he's pretty ugly he still has a harmonious and well proportioned face. the same can be said for jeremy allen white - he's objectively ugly but he also has a solid facial ratio all things considered. then you have germanics like mathias schweighofer who SHOULD look good but at the same time there's something uncanny about their face. many german speaking people don't look good because they dont have good facial harmony meanwhile scandinavians tend to have these same defects but they also have sharper features which make up for it

when aiming for facial improvements, the ideal is to obtain harmony while finding a good balance of soft feminine and sharp masculine traits. marcello mastroianni and clint eastwood don't really have defined jawlines but they have everything else necessary

asians above all strive for facial harmony. whites aim for harmony and/or sharp masculine features. latinas skew more masculine for what they look for
