Social Media on the rise, Is it a Good or Bad thing for Geomaxxing?

Its interesting to see how people can look at something like social media from so many perspectives, but heres mine

Like sure, social media has raised the bar in 3rd world countries as to what a "good looking" western man looks/would look like...

But at the same time if it wasnt for hollywood and social media showing western culture of hooking up/partying/women being more free, then us westerners would stand no chance in these countries, women would not want to date a foreigner due to negative comments and danger...

I imagine it like being in a heavy muslim countries, women cant even show their face, let alone walk ALONE, work jobs, have $ independence, western media is banned, party/hookup/tinder culture is not a thing... now imagine you trying to go meet the local girls... for starters there are none in the streets since they cant go out to work and such, you cant even see them properly with the outfits they wear, their family will literally hang you in their basement if they find you are dating her, male population can be extremely hostile and aggresive if they see you dating one of their MUSLIM girls.... take examples like afganisthan, iran, pakistan, some places of india, etc... go on a 4k walk tour on youtube see how many girls you find on the video

Of course newly westernized countries know what a good looking white guy looks like, but their idea of it is greatly inflated due to the sheer lack of westerners they see, not only that but thanks to hollywood is it that a young western guy can be seen as adventorous and intelligent, portrayed as brave, rich, good looking, etc... take for instance china, it has like 1.5 BILLION people, do you think geomaxxing pre social media era was any better? the country was basically a communist state, no outside media ever reached them, they were probably taught that american capitalists were money hungry pigs, filthy and shameful cowards, due to china being a semi communist state at the time, very closed to the world, sure maybe 2019 was a tiny bit better than 2025 from what ive heard, but i dont think geomaxxing in the 90s or early 2000s was any better than it is today, it was more dangerous and the women from these countries were probably a lot more closed as to dating foreigners. Thus social media helps us portray a good image, a "desired" image of status dating a westerner

do you mean like an allegory of the cave situation? we've already seen the outcome of north korean and muslim women who flee to the west what they end up doing afterwards. they become the same

this is actually a massive blackpill. they had hardly any western media, if any, growing up but as soon as the floodgates open they go right to jbw and now just a decade or two after they've started to become more modernized they're already on par with white, japanese and korean women as far as their standards go

Realistically the golden age of geomaxxing was the decade between 2010 and 2019, it was the perfect slaying environment for white guys culturally and technologically speaking. Before 2010 I'm guessing it was still a super great time but the ease of dating apps (when they work well for you) it's unbeatable

social media is good and bad. good because it makes it easier to meet the hot girls in your area. bad because the hot girls now have access to guys all over the world who simp for them. also exposure to good looking dudes even on social media inflates their standards.

women back in the day were not as promiscuos as nowadays, sure being promiscuous is often seen in these spaces as something "bad", but if you are a white western man with $$ then women being promiscuous in these countries is the best thing ever to happen to you, it opens a huge dating market that 30 years ago would be mostly closed as no one would want to be seen with a western man, they could be labeled as traitors, lose prestige, honor, their jobs, be mocked publicly, etc.

Yes i agree that biologically women at the end of the day are basically all the same, BUT your competition is not and what they may desire can change a lot, you would think that biologically speaking an asian woman would prefer an asian man, but then you see them come to america and all of a sudden their "genetics" and biology changes and they feel more attracted towards white men (oxford study)

very true things all you say, however how many girls want those guys and how many actually reach them is off the charts, you got hundreds of millions of girls wanting something and only a handful (maybe some tens of thousands of white men in those countries) actually delivering it

completely agree, meeting hot girls in that area back in the day was harder than now, you had to be out and about constantly and had to have a good eye to spot them and actually have the balls to approach them, nowadays everyone can do it with a phone, your looks speak for you before she can even hear your voice, however in certain countries if you have certain traits then it works better for you, since they will start messaging you and wanna hang out with you
