Day 3 of China teachermaxxing job hunt

you probably can but not worth it imo

just go to cambodia
based alexbrown84 insta reply im a long term lurker seen some of your youtube vids.

I need to china max, i have some stuff i want to cook up, but i want a job and some spot to stay in long term. Guangzhou area near the factories would be most ideal, but I'm giga poor right now so I could really use a job to sustain me.

Holy shit is this a legit bachelors degree? I can't believe this is accepted around the world, what program do you recommend i hate school, literally just want this for my ease of geomaxxing around the world.

Not sure if i can get canadian government to help me out with this i am broke, but this is intriguing

jus go on the reddit and search old posts talking about the easiest one

is there any chance that i can get a job in china without a degree?
If you consult with Reborn Abroad and then pay ~$1500 to join his services/network, supposedly he can get you in somehow, but it’s usually in more rural provinces like inner mingolia where they’re more lax about fake degrees etc.

Yeah, should really be gatekept. Some of them are wayy too easy I’m a bit worried they’ll lose their accreditation status one day or something

$1500? I’d pay $1500 to beat his ass if i wasn’t poor.

This already has started happening with the TeachNow Moreland program which for those who dont know is an easier and cheaper way to get a teaching license. I hear that some schools even bilingual ones in china are starting to reject applicants that got ones through it and are asking more applicants how they got their license. Also apparently Hawaii which is one of the states you used to be able to get a license via the program with has even started rescinding licenses for teachers that have never taught there.

Yeah I'll be doing American Board which is basically the same concept.
Tbf in places like /r/internationalteachers which is where I assume you're reading about this kind of stuff, it still has a lot of demoralizers that say it's over if you don't have an oxbridge M.Ed and that "WE've been rejecting applicants who don't have X". And muh "post-covid" this and that.
I'll never understand their mentlity of being so obsessed with their ""cushy"" (9+ hour a day workload) jobs at "high tier" schools and their need to gatekeep everything and stay in their gay expat bubble. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, many teachers in the world have quite a perverse psychology.
In reality you can still waltz in with a bachelor's degree + chatgpt'd TEFL and get plenty of job offers for places besides international schools, and it only gets better from there.
Just enjoy your life brah

like everything else i assume the blackpill in this scenario conquers all. the people in that subreddit if i had to guess are probably ugly, neurotic and not white. if a tall white guy with light eyes wanted a job overseas he would definitely get it without needing high tier credentials

maybe im wrong because i have no experience here so i dont know

You're probably at least half right, especially since supposedly international schools are less racist, but I also realy don't know. I'd wager to guess that plenty of them (especially the China crowd) are white MTNs/LTNs shaking in their boots trying to protect their jbw golden goose from non-studycel+oldcel chads... but whatever the exact reason, gatekeeping is gatekeeping

Hypothetically speaking, could you just get a random masters degree from wgu, get a teaching license from American board and then be able to increase the odds of getting a 35k rmb uni job?

Obviously yeah, however university jobs are pretty much capped at like 15k/month. Anything paying more than that probably wants a PhD and has >20 45-minute periods (instead of 16) of a difficult subject like mathematics, etc.
Mine pays 11k/month and I consider myself quite lucky considering I have 0 YOE, which is still very important like with any j*b. Even with the whole nine yards but with 0 YOE, you probably won't even get into an international school paying >30k/month.

Does your job let you take a vacation? Wondering if you had to do a bimax, can you get away for 3 weeks so you can recover a bit and speak like a human being and not get posted all over chinese social media

Brutal no reply pill
Yeah you get 1-2 months off each for winter and summer. Usually 1+2. Almost every job listing will tell you about it and if it's paid or not. So yeah if you had to get bimax it would be ASAP in summer vacation which is what I'll do if I get it and/or just genio. Personally though I think I'll just be unemployed for a while after my current job's contract is over

Okay so whats it like for you. Is it your winter vacation right now? And is it paid? Seems pretty damn good if you get two seperate paid months off. I saw on org a post of someone getting a 5k usd bimax in china

Have fun getting surgery in China without Mandarin. That goes for many other countries like Poland, France, etc. where oldcel surgeons only really know the local language and don't have any advertisement/presence outside the local culture. You essentially have to pay for only knowing English. Shanghai you might be able to find something but expect the prices to be inflated back to a similar extent to Korea, Turkey, India, etc. where English is much stronger by default

you're better off trying to get a sleep apnea diagnosis then get it paid through insurance
