What the actual fuck. 99% of pinas are legit ugly. 1% of them are semen demons (I notice a similar phenomenon with Indian girls) and I think that's my only cope because a miniscule minority are very sexy with tits that aren't A cups lol. But if I used tinder passport mode some more before coming here I'd have probably saved myself the trouble
I got like 40 likes per dating app in the first 24 hours vs like ~8 in Hanoi, Vietnam, but almost all of them are ugly. Meanwhile Vietnamese girls are LTR material, but the vast majority of these pinas I wouldn't even bang if they showed up at my doorstep
And people here are like "PH is a shithole, the only thing to do here is fuck girls" and now that that's barely on the table, god daaamn. Idk if I'm built for these streets, man. I'm a simple man and thought I could cope with the poverty around me since at the end of the day I have some money, or hell maybe even enjoy it in a weird way (that's what I felt when I got used to living in Vietnam after a few weeks) but nah, tbh I don't even know if I'll be able to stay sane in this country (1 week here 1 week Manila) before I go to HCMC where girls are kemono and interesting to talk to
Also, WTF the security everywhere lol. This feels post-apocalyptic dawg. In Vietnam and Malaysia I never had to pass by like 3 different guards and have them glance at me as I go to my room. What a cockblock if you have a girl with you lol

Finding a base country to work remotely and whatnot and see what it's like was partially a motivation.
I've seen a fair share of vlogs in the Philippines, and I though it looks like any other city, right? But you don't actually know until you get there just how weird it is.
Literally NO idea why anyone would want to be an expat here - besides if they're a trucecel - when it's not even cheap

yep been saying this ever since my most recent month long stay in the philippines back in january

after a couple days of exploring the city, there becomes nothing to do but fuck girls, and observe the poverty and lack of entertainment around you

I've been here over two months, and you are missing the entire point why expats are here

Also JFL being here a week and week there thinking you'll score some hot model off the streets, just cause your an expat.

Of course the ugliest, most desperate girls either go for quick party tourist who think they have built an image of the city in 2 days, or them thinking they will build a slay over a 4/10 over a week.

I've bagged hotties in both Manila and Davao, you obviously are planning your trips way too wrong and switching a location by the week

It's been a bit eye opening. There are definitely cute girls here if you go to higher class areas. (Half of them don't look local though lol.)

This was half incoherent but every other country has endless gigastacies (appearance-wise at least) on apps/on the street. I'm complaining about fat latina looking girls not in-shape (east) asians lol which are just my type

So yeah I didn't intend to make a demoralizing post. I think Davao can be a fine city once you know which places are nice to hang out at and if you're NT/good at cold approach like a true slummaxxer.
But yeah jfl @ me only staying for only a week on the pretense that I'd see all there is to see after days. I normally try and stay for several but my itinerary was already tight. PH is huge and everything and but so you still need to give each place time to see wtf is going on. I haven't been anywhere quite like it, which is what traveling is all about :3
 
I think it's hard to form an opinion in a week, it's my second or almost third month here.

Especially meeting someone of value

Yeah I'm not looking for a relationship but I def recognize catching feelings as a risk ngl. Happened before. Imo it's all or nothing though. Even if you're staying for months you'll still have to break up or be in a cucked long-distance relationship

Expected OLD to be a similar deal to Manila albeit on a smaller scale, which is all a man needs. I recognize now that that's far less optimal compared to other cities, tho idk how exactly I could've anticipated that. Manila is probably very unique because population is huge and tons of young ppl there for work or studying
davao is probably the opposite, and you can swipe all girls in a few days
