The days of cheap SEA are over (3 Viewers)

you can easily live day to day with 1k$/month but theres a lot of hidden expenses that most foreigners will have:

1 flight back home per year can be an extra 50$/month
1-2 vacations per year around SEA/Asia can be another extra 50-100$/month
new clothes, phone, laptop can be another extra 50-100$/month
any other random expenses can also add up a lot such as dentist, insurance, medication, visas
1000% people don't consider this and it can ruin you/cause a lot of stress and ruin your time. Experienced it myself.

I’m talking on average…

If my rent is 500-600£, why would i spend anymore than £500 on other things? Like i don’t get it?

My point is if you want to live on £1k a month you certainly can, i wouldn’t need to spend more anyway.

I wasn’t budgeting either
In case you want to enjoy life or you get in accident/ want to travel elsewhere instead of being just in condo all the time
Yeah true.

But im talking more so living

take into account most cost of living data is made up of """digital nomads""" who spend 200 dollars on coffee every month
