I'm generally in favor of owning cats, not dogs, as all dogs are retarded, though personally I don't have any interest in it.

But its almost certainly true that pets probably love attractive owners more which is just darkly funny as fuck.

a pet cannot even tell if someone is attractive or not. their brains did not develop that way. that's why a dog can love you even if you are a downie or completely disfigured

Attractive people do tend to exhibit positive traits and characteristics, so it makes sense an animal would be drawn to more non threatening behaviors.
