i was at cafe on the first floor so just walked outside but the girls apartment i’m staying at started falling apart on a high floor


and lol at ignorant locals hiding under an overhead to get away from the sun

Yea bro I was fucking sleeping and my high rise condo started rocking like I was on a ship, ceiling was falling ,i could hear the building collapsing, I thought maybe it will stop in 2 minutes so I waited , but then after 2 minutes it got fucking worse and even more ceiling was collapsing and even loader it genuinely felt like my building was collapsing

So we all dipped

And then qhen we were about to go outside there was a big group of people waiting cos there was shit loads of debris falling onto the floor so I just covered my head and went through it

The outside of my building has visible damage, honestly I think my building is fucked. Idk what to do now

Reminds me when I was in two Earthquakes in Davao. Both were around 7.7 too, a bit off into the ocean, but apparently since they get them every few weeks all the buildings have "strong" anti earthquake stuff in them so even though the building was waving like crazy, nothing broke from what I can tell

I still don't trust Filipino "engineering" so still wouldn't recommend.
