I tried cialis once and it made me sweat and a little dizzy. Didn‘t like the feeling and never touched it again since then.

I will be honest and say that to some extent it makes you psychologically dependent. You perform so much better with the pill that sex without it starts to feel unsatisfying. There's no noticeable physical dependence though. I've actually lowered the dose over the years.
