Advice When is the best time to go to Thailand/SEA?

I know for the weather it's basically now till the end of March

But for stuff like flights, condos, stuff to do, when is the best time to go? Should you go during the shoulder months? Like now or in April?

I bought my first ticket from Denmark to Thailand in March this year and the economy seats were like $300 and business was 1000 so prob around March. But I think that’s when it also gets the hottest in the year
