What's the point of holding 10k plus in cash now a days?

With the way inflation is, it's pointless to hold large amounts in cash for the long term. Going abroad and gaining life experiences that will stay with you for the rest of your life means more than digits on your computer screen.

Well, that's what I'm doing. I don't see the point of having money when it's inflating away.
 
Believing in a Fiat currency is retarded. I'd rather hold my limited wealth in gold and silver than cash. This is only a good option if you have your own means of selling it with little to no selling fees involved.
You think investing is BS? What about crypto. What tf do you do. Buy a plot of land and bury gold? If so respect for following your principles, otherwise nigga stop being financially illiterate. SNP500 is okay-ish, bitcoin id good if you can handle the volatility, and in a savings account ur losing like 1-4% per year. There’s also inflation adjusted bonds that you can buy. Maintaining your money isn’t hard imo…
