btw i went here and it was pretty interesting

i was the only foreigner in the city, the chinese secret police were waiting for me at the train station to take a picture of my passport and ask a bunch of question

after i finished that, i went to my hotel where it took about an hour to check in since they didn’t know how to process foreigners

i’m pretty sure they gave me the hidden camera room because my room was in a corner and wasn’t in numerical order compared to the rest of the floor lol

went walking on the streets and EVERYONE was looking at me. schoolgirls wanting to take pictures, all practicing their english with me

went to some random restaurant i found and a lot of the workers were ethnic minorities that looked a bit european. when i was getting the bill, i look over and see a han girl working at the restaurant taking a creep pic of me

i only stayed for one night but it was fun
