The biggest looksmaxxing meme is around steroids.
"You'll never be able to get an erection again"
"Steroids will make you infertile"
"Steroids will ruin your life"
Do I really need to explain the story of every fitness influencer, athlete, bodybuilder... ever?
"Roids will make you go bald"
They do not make you go bald they accelerate male pattern baldness which can be overcome by taking fin, dut or a hairline transplant.
These claims are all cope by exaggeration of the extremes (and I'll admit that I was deceived by these "noble natty" copers).
If you:
1. Get regular blood work.
2. Buy from a reliable source.
3. Consult a specialist if you start seeing warning signals.
4. Don't pin Mr. Olympia levels of gear.
5. Take a PCT when you come off
..you'll be fine.
However you'll need a SERM such as tamoxifen to prevent high E (which is extremely important for teencels who want to heightmax).
