I work on product that heavily uses ai models. It's not even intelligence, because if you understood how it worked, it would lose its magic. It's dumb. This dumb shit will never ever solve any hard problem. It can only solve already solved problem that is well known. Calling it intelligence is insult to human intelligence. We already heavily lack engineers who can "engineer", not just be code monkeys

i dont know much about asia, but im referring to the situation worldwide, a international chinese girl student most likely wants to hook up with a local western guy and then date/marry a rich chinese fella. if you live in a big "international" city hub (new york, LA, Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Shangai, Hong Kong, etc) you will see tons of foreign students who dont know anyone in the city and are a bit "lost" in regards to what to do there, theres a huge opening there for you as a local to make friends with them and see if it escalates into something else

imo its also true that most foreigners coming to your city/country also want the same girls you are "competing" for, so its an overall net negative, only positive is they are usually broke, and come from countries which are statistically "uglier" for women, i doubt a 5/10 british girl will wanna go for the 4/10 5'6 indian accent guy who has a bad reputation stemming from the country he is coming for, and she will much rather date the 5'10 5/10 british guy who is "socially accepted" and she genuinely finds more attractive
