what’s my peak you ask?

if you follow me on ig, watch my highlighted titled ‘1’

from my days in atlanta to going to the uae and qatar for a month, climbing mountains in africa, cycling in copenhagen, to flying to bangkok and living there, and going on adventures from mongolia to argentina, cambodia, and so on

if you compare my new highlight reel titled 3, it seems a lot more boring

i guess that’s what happens when you get old

preferences will change as you get older

you're only 23

I will say though that you may have reached your "hedonistic" peak. My experience in China so far is much like a repeat of my experience in Japan. But it's way less thrilling, not a huge rush of adventure and "holy shit I'm doing this wow" feeling. Just feels kind of normal now. I think when you do big new things, you only experience that rush once in your life. And when you do many big new things at once, you "use up" a lot of that limited resource.

However, there's an upside to this. Even if it's less exciting, I'm more grounded. Others feel overwhelmed, nervous, out of place, but since I've done a lot of things it all kind of floats by me. I feel comfortable in all environments now, which is nice.

You could go on a really long train/boat ride

Over for doomer kids who define their life peak by social media highlights.

True.

I was never able to replicate the thrill of my first time in Thailand - Even though my later visits were objectively better!

It is part of human nature and you have to accept it.

It may also partially explain pair bonding. When a girl has been ran through, she loses the ability to have that feeling of being blown away by a guy, to be deeply attached to him. Because she has felt it so many times before, and weaker each time

Tbh, the only peak that matters is in looks and your true peak in looks only lasts a very short time. Waking up and seeing an old nigga looking back at you in the mirror = over (for peak motivation, that is).

Cope. Muscles are more motivating for 80 percent of men as long as hairline doesn't recede
