If you want to hit the clubs join any of the party hostels, coworking spaces, meetups and you will find plenty of people.
 
I think the bigger issue is that he's a normie...

Sadly ur right, i dont have any friends who are similar to me in anyway

I was thinking of making friends when i’m out there, but i’d rather kms than hang out with rich british backpackers..
 
There are language exchange clubs, hobby meetups, business meetups, etc. Can also join a gym and start a conversation there- ask about good clubs to check for example. I've met long term expats and locals that way. Much cooler than the backpacker/short term tourist arrogant assholes.
