It's also Shenzhen tbf. That place was more difficult than Shanghai for me and is probably harder than the rest of China as the girls expect you to have money. I dont really recall seeing many foreign guys with good looking girls there either and this was pre covid.

That being said this guy clearly went for the first girl that showed interest who he thought had money.

the thing with asian women is that they have a set of standards for asian guys but they break those standards for foreigners. in that sense, it's hard to say. i don't think foreign models with little to no money would have a tough time getting sex in china

from what i can see, they appear to marry young but have mistresses that they keep on the side in secret throughout his life so his wife and family don't lose face. maybe a resident rice on the forum can deny or confirm?

You're prob not gonna get models unless you're similiar in looks yourself in a Tier 2 and can speak Chinese but HTBs def seem attainable. In my case I think I'll be able to get that easily being HTN myself and I should be able to speak passable Mandarin but I think they are still attainable for MTN guys as well based on what I've gathered if you learn the language and especially cold approach them.

When I went to Shanghai and Beijing on my first China trip I saw some white guys punch above their weight, again pre covid. I did okay as I was held back by being a virgin and was also overweight.

Shenzhen is a different animal however and I really should have tried Guangzhou instead on my second trip there.

How many points out of their league did they get to?
And how do you know it was due to intrinsic factors (JBW) rather than extrinsic (Money, Status, etc)?
Also did you do cold approach, online, or both?

i don't think anyone should be going for models as they're the same worldwide regardless of race. they'll always be high maintenance and likely to cheat.

the best thing to aim for is a loyal and caring htb or staceylite with a good body. that's literally the jackpot

I did cold approach and got MTBs in both cities being an overweight newbie who was a bit socially akward at the time. I was in Beijing for 10 days and saw one chick there for a few days. Was in Shanghai for much longer so was able to meet more there. In Shenzhen I had to dumpster dive with a LTB which I'm not proud of but I approached over 100 girls there and only went on a dates with a few girls, all except one that ended in failure.

The other white dudes in SH/BJ that were getting HTBs or better may have been betabuxxing, don't know but it wasn't that uncommon to see mediocre looking guys get women 2 points above their looksmatch. Also saw some med guys and blonde dudes that weren't wearing the best clothes still with better looking chicks than themselves but the smv differential wasn't as high as with the better dressed white guys with lighter features.

I was only able to speak very basic Chinese which also limited me for sure in SZ and as I said on another thread, the ones that could speak English were mostly gold diggers. I opened with Chinese but would try to quickly switch to English with every chick.

Even so, I still got the general sense that betabuxxing is required there even if you do speak Mandarin and the women are very demanding. There is a ton of competition with all the loaded Hong Kongers frequently visiting.

In SH/BJ there were enough English speaking chicks around where this wasn't
really an issue.

The chicks were shorter than the dudes for sure but those observations include guys around my height of 5'10 to 5'11 and some of them were able to get HTBs and even a few stacylites in the cases where they were better looking. The guys over 6' did better of course.
