Looks Question for the BP scholars

I have a question for those well versed in BP literature. Personally I've never been fully convinced about the truth of the BP. In particular due to the existence of phenomena such as Stockholm syndrome.

When you spend a significant amount of time with a women, isn't it inevitable that some form of connection builds up, one that over time will overpower the discrepancy between my SMV and those of MTN+ back home? I believe that no one can keep up an act for 24 hours a day, so if she secretly harbor a disdain for you, you should be able to sense it at some point.

Thus it could be theorized that after connection has been developed over time and with the presence of a sunk cost fallacy, it could be safe to return to Western countries while facing a significantly diminished risk of your partner cheating on you? Of course you should vet your partner, make sure her history checks out and her personality is suitable.

That's a good point. In addition I suppose there are countless instances where both a connection and a sunk cost fallacy was in place, where they still cheated. Perhaps you can never truly know and trust someone other than yourself.
