Puerto Rico - San Juan

Give me a rundown on the Employment, food scene, safety, cost of living, nightlife, safety, and quality of life. How good is Public transportation? Do you need a car or can you walk/bike everywhere?

I was there last year in august. They have Uber and outside of buses I don’t think there’s public transportation. From what I saw I’d think you would need a car to live there.

I didn’t do much outside of fishing, going to see some old fort, and beaches so can’t say much about the nightlife. Wasn’t a bad place and the sunrise is nice there

I've been there before. The downtown was nice but getting served was like pulling teeth. From grabbing a beer to the checkout line at the pharmacy, etc. Everything takes 2-3x normal amount of time - at least it did for me.

I’m going there in September for a week. It’s been on my radar as a place to geomaxx.

Slightly cheaper than America but not by much. I didn't go out into the main city just the tourist area.
