While Isaiah 42:7 is about freeing prisoners, prison is punishment like the death penalty. I think sometimes abortion is called prenatal death penalty(and other things like prenatal euthanasia). So perhaps the preborn shouldn't be punished. The crime is trespassing. If the preborn are trespassers, then killing them is not eye for an eye because they didn't kill anybody. The Bible says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." If you think trespassing is evil, I guess it still shouldn't be overcome with evil, murder. Romans 3:23 says all have sinned, so if preborn trespassers are to be punished with the death penalty, shouldn't everyone? The Bible is blessed the merciful, so we should be merciful to the preborn?
Evictionists view a woman's womb as her property and an unwanted fetus as a "trespasser or parasite", even while lacking the will to act.
