Koh Samui vs Phuket

Dear Geomax community,

I have the opportunity to go visit Thailand or Philippines, I'm currently thinking of either Ko Samui or Phuket, Thailand and I'd like some advice :

- 1. What is the best in terms of dating (non-escorts), in terms of quality of women, language etc?
- 2. Are STD's popular there, best ways to prevent them (besides condom)?
- 3. Which place has better muay thai training?
- 4. Any other advice?

I think it's quite obvious Thailand is better for muay thai since it's the national sport.
