their whole shtick is about still riding the wave of their past. muh paintings, muh boats in venice, muh la dolce vita, muh espresso, muh pizza. shut the fuck up. your language is irrelevant and annoying, you're all ethnics pretending to be white, your military sucks, and you have nothing to be proud of TODAY. imagine claiming to be a first world country but having corruption levels on par with latin america. why should i give a fuck about how you eat pizza? why do i care that pasta alfredo isn't real italian cuisine? any other mediterranean country blows italy's cuisine out of the water and they don't even brag about it like italy does. even their major airports are a joke. they look like they've been frozen in time in the 1960s with some slight rennovations here and there that were probably funded by germany or the uk when they were still in the EU
