We already know being a parent is cheap, but it's also a piece of cake.

Parents can enroll their children in school, which means raising them is the school's responsibility for most of the day on weekdays. Public school is also free, so poor people aren't excluded from them. Also, children can walk to and from school so the parent doesn't even need to give him or her a ride there. Younger children might need a ride though because they walk slower. There's also after school activities, adding more time children spend away from their parents.
Putting your child in school instead of homeschooling it is sort of lazy, but hey that's what's normal. Even homeschooling, though, isn't that difficult or time-consuming to the parent. The child can do online learning by themselves without needing to counsel their parent. Therefore even stupid people can be parents or homeschoolers. If they want to ask for help on schoolwork, they can rely on their more knowledgeable older siblings. Also according to Google, "Studies suggest that homeschooled students often perform better on standardized tests and achieve higher academic outcomes than their traditional school counterparts." Also, because homeschoolers can learn at their own pace, they can spend more time learning each day and graduate sooner than a public schooler.

When children are at home, they might do sports in their neighborhood, watch TV, or play video games. As Bryan Caplan says, Homer and Marge from The Simpsons can share the work of parenting. They will eat meals at home and cooking can be time consuming, but fast food exists. Besides parents eat too, so they may have already been cooks for themselves. They just need to make larger portions enough so the child can eat with them. Being a parent doesn't consume time. The child may need to go to the clinic, but that might be to the exception to the rule. The time a parent may spend on a child may be fun anyways since they love him or her and also because the activity may be a fun thing like gaming which they might do if they were alone anyways.
Antinatalists say having children is time consuming but it's not true. Even lazy people can be parents(but still good ones) as I explained, but antinatalists are just extra lazy. Even if it were time consuming, you can just put it up for adoption. You can make children without raising them after. You're still doing the child a favor. He'll be glad he was born. You can also just abort the child. Abortion doesn't change the fact that you were a parent for a while. It's easy to be pregnant too.
