Imagine not being addicted to nicotene

everything is good in moderation especially if our grandparents did it

learning about hormesis and how there are scientists in the US, france and japan who are advocating for it changed my way of thinking. our government's cucked "safety standards" are destroying us

i like how this thread is not the usual smoker bashing. but from experience i can tell you it's giga cope.

surgery last year forced me to take a break. i haven't touched them ever since. the break finally managed to eradicate from my brain that the cigarette belongs to gatherings and drinking. what a victory.

for me it was never the nicotine that i was addicted to. it was the act of smoking itself. a habit to cling to in order to flee from uncomfortable social situations. a physical activity that seems legit to do while being trapped in conversations. allowing you to join the smoker's lounge or the balcony side-party.

in fact, the nicotine made things even worse because it releases cortisol, increasing stress and anxiety. so you want to smoke even more and smoke yourself into a vicious cycle.

if i feel too uncomfortable at parties now, i will just leave them. if the party is not catering to my well-being, fuck the party, it's not even a party then. and fuck clubs, they are just establishments to cuck the average man.

amazing how the industry managed to sell smoking to us in the first place as something manly, an act of rebellion, representing freedom. the marlboro cowboy. while in fact it is just a self-cucking ritual.

personally i dont like to smoke at all when i drink, how long were u smoking and what did u average a day? i've been on them for a few years now and average like 3-4 a day.

i took a 3 week break once when i got sick just to see how it was and i concluded life was nicer on cigarettes
