True, im speaking from the perspective of a poorcel.
However, succeeding in what i said also gives STATUS and validation, especially streamer/youtuber/instagramer/musician, which most people on earn consciously and subconsciously yearn for.
The fact you arent a prominent influencer in these areas means you are either lazy or a privacy appreciator for social class reasons (the wealthy often dont have social media, and avoid posting their faces on social media which is what a rich chinese girl said to me at university).

A major issue with that is it has to be the right video game or then it doesn’t work lol
