1. Live in an overseas colony (South Korea).

Let’s be real, the closest thing Americans can get to reliving the Victorian era overseas british colonizer is to live in one of our direct vassal states, and in the 21st century, that would include South Korea.

2. Live in a great power adversary (China).

What’s there to be said. I guess I could prestige this by living here when the South China Sea war begins.

3. Live in a neutral state (Thailand).
