My new goal is to go to Asia (preferably China, Korea, Taiwan but SEA would also be okay) and make money while geomaxxing. I think my parents would not finance my geomaxxing they only pay for "holiday" (5 weeks max every year). I am not native english, I have a degree in German and I do not even want to work a real 9 to 5 job at a company. I would also be okay with changing location every 3 months to avoid visa problems. What can I work as? English teacher is not a good option because my English is not perfect and I am not a native. Model I am too short (only 5 ft 9) but maybe I can fraud 6 ft. What are other options? What do most people here do who geomaxx most of the year (like @marauder who seemingly can stay in East Asia long term and fraud chadlite or @predeterminism who has been in SEA for long time)?

move to china and just wander around until someone offers you a job

you can still get a job teaching english but it won’t pay as much as being natural

If SEA is okay, you can learn Premier Pro then After Effects, then learn how to do this style of editing and you should make enough to live in SEA (or anywhere else that is cheap and has an easy visa) in anywhere from 1-3 years max. Stuff like this isn’t gonna be taken away by AI anytime soon

German teachers are a thing too
this is sort of 9 to 5

it is not really scalable right so i cannot expect to make a lot with it? i am looking for something more scalable like selling courses that can mek me really enough to live comfortably

iirc @predeterminism said he works a remote job doing some coding stuff. This is still shit though because even though you can geomax to SEA you're still spending most of your time slaving away doing boring work for someone else to get rich. so not an option for people like us against the 9-5 lifestyle.

Making money yourself online is 100% the only way to live life unless you're blessed with rich parents and financial freedom automatically.

Here is what I've been thinking so far

1. Start a brand (best but a lot of initial risk)
2. Dropshipping (not as sustainable/scalable as 1 but less investment, also other issues)
3. Selling your skill on fiver/upwork (pretty wagie pilled)
4. Content creation (you can do automated yt shorts, or make normal vids and use skool/patreon)
5. AI or real only fans managing (talking to horny indians for money so L)
6. Courses (need clout first for this, and taking advantage of gullible people)

Let me know what else there is. Once I graduate uni im locking myself in my parents basement until I figure out how to make enough money online to travel wherever I want. Having an office job has completely scarred me, and if all else fails teachermaxxing.

9 to 5 is your only option if you have to ask people on the internet how to not work a 9 to 5 tbh

i am blessed with sort of rich parents but they wont let me geomaxx and say I have to pay for it myself at least they say so. maybe if I just go and say I am depressed or burnt out they will pay

Any way to make money online is scalable in that way. If you do content creation about what you're doing and build even a small amount of followers that trust you can sell a course, start a skool community (current meta), do 1:1 calls, or get people to use your affiliate links.

problem with this is if you were actually make a shit ton online you wouldn't just give people real sauce in your market that would make could make them compete with you, meaning you're pretty much just scamming these people.

Don't guilt your parents out of money though thats cringe, at least try making money online first

it is but I think the greatest geomaxxer of all time @AlexBrown84 also does it, and probably @marauder too

i think I will do a combination of both. first ask them for some money and then try to make myself indepedent

You can scale video editing by making a content agency. I have one editing client and two agency clients atm (still a brokie). Content agency’s require a lot more than editing though

In short, it's very difficult.

You shouldn't even be thinking about courses etc unless you have a significant amount of engaged followers.

Writing courses/e books is the fun and easy part. Building an audience is the hard part where people fail.

The whole digital nomad thing is over exaggerated imo. Most are broke af with inconsistent income/work.

That's why when you talk to other expats Thailand and Phil they're always desperate to talk about visas and money.

If you're young, op. Then that's your best asset. You have time build something consistent that will allow you to geomaxx more permanently.
