how do you bring up the subject of asking a girl to paint her nails

i haven't seen her with painted nails (fingers nor toes) but after i saw some old pictures of her where she did it i thought she looked great and chose a great color scheme. is this NT to bring up or do i just sit back and pray she does it one day?
