How can I make money in China or Korea to stay there full time?

My parents said they would not pay for me staying in Asia so I have to find a way to make money myself. I have a law degree in Central Europe but I do not expect that it will help me much in Asia.
Costs of living in China are low in Tier 2 cities but I believe you cannot make money online easily because of the great firewall (using vpn maybe, correct me if I am wrong). Korea costs of living are higher but still low compared to where I am from and you do not have great firewall. What I have heard finding jobs in Korea and China is practically impossible if you do not want to be a teacher and do not speak Korean or Mandarin.
So I would have to find a way to make money online like @predeterminism .. or what are my alternatives? Or is Korea and China too hard to make enough money (I also do not want it to be too stressful because I am there also to have fun, so working more than 40 hours a week is not my goal). should go to South East Asia instead (I would also be okay with staying in Manila because I really liked it there but everyone is advising against it)?

Your options are become a teacher or get rich enough to afford some sort of investment visa.

Or if it’s because you like East Asian looking women, then you can make money online and find one that looks East Asian in SEA or try Taiwan since I heard their visa requirements for long term are easy (don’t quote me on that though)
