This being said, most people are retarded sheep who only go to college because their parents and society heavily corral them into doing it and because a lot of people think it will secure them a job but these are still places of higher learning.Only sensible avg-above avg IQ take in this whole thread.
Of course there's outliers and it's important to follow your passions in life but you also need to adjust your expectations accordingly.
Also, college isn't just about getting a job. It was never originally meant to be about just preparing people for the workforce. There is importance in just being educated outside of what you provide for yourself or society economically.
Universities were meant to rear up intellectual elites who would serve the church and/or state. The pursuit of knowledge was seen as a moral and civic good.
The job training aspect did not become central until post-industrial revolution.
I got a degree in CS, fucked up my eyesight, and spent the following years getting rejected from jobs and neeting. There is no such thing as stability anymore. So what you want us to do? Go make a online business and be a millionaire!

it's just a status boost at that point. shows you are from a decent family and also kinda smart (if you got the right degree)you aren't garuenteed a job once you earn your degree.
This is why it’s not worth it. If you’re going to have to send 2000 job applications after graduating you’re better off sending 2000 outreaches for whatever online business you’re doingThere is no such thing as stability anymore.
The eyesight part is brutal. How bad was it? Do you wear glasses or get surg? I'm thinking of getting surg to fix my eyesight.I got a degree in CS, fucked up my eyesight,
